The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is in the College of Medicine.

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery offers a clinical elective of 3-4 weeks duration to eligible third or fourth year medical students. Students will learn regional anatomy musculoskeletal and neurologic examination of cervical, thoracic and lumbar areas. Exposure to outpatient and surgical management of a variety of pediatric and adult orthopaedic conditions.

Elective courses in various aspects of orthopaedic surgery are offered. Special courses on specific clinical activities and research programs are available on an individual basis.
