Baccalaureate DegreesThe American Indian Studies (AIS) Program does not offer a baccalaureate degree; however, the AIS director can assist students who are interested in American Indian studies and are pursuing the undergraduate interdisciplinary studies major.

Program Goal:
The American Indian Studies Program seeks to develop, through research and scholarship, a wider scope of understanding of the indigenous peoples of the Americas -- their languages, culture, traditions, and sovereignty.
Dual Degree MA/JD:
The AIS program works with the College of Law to offer students a dual degree program for the Master of Arts (M.A.) in American Indian Studies and the Juris Doctorate (JD).
