The Eller College of Business and Public Administration administers the Business Administration and Entrepreneurship courses:

Academic Departments and Schools:

The college offers professional education in both business and public administration.  Its purpose is to prepare students for professional positions in the public and private sectors.  The faculty are both scholars and practicing professionals representing industry, government, administration, health care, education, and transportation.  The college is a member of the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business, and its undergraduate and graduate curricula in business are accredited by the assembly.

Admission and Advanced Standing:

Initial admission to the Eller College of BPA does not guarantee entry to the professional program (advanced standing). The advanced standing policy restricts all enrollments in upper-division (300- and 400-level) courses taught by the departments in the College.

Advanced Standing Policy:

Eller College of BPA students must:

  1. have credit for a minimum of 54 units, including all stipulated lower-division requirements;
  2. have a grade-point average of not less than a 2.75 in order to make application;
  3. have an approved application on file with the BPA Undergraduate Programs Office under the Advanced Standing Policy; apply by the stated deadline date and comply with application procedures;
  4. attend the advanced standing orientation;

Transfer Course Work:

All transfer course work applicable to the B.S.P.A. or B.S.B.A. degree requirements taken while enrolled in other colleges or at other universities is subject to acceptance by the College for degree certification purposes.
