The Department of Economics is in the Eller College of Business and Public Administration.

Degrees, Majors, Minors, and Options:

Baccalaureate Degrees

• Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.)

• Master of Arts (M.A.)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

• Business Economics (B.S.B.A.)
• Economics (B.A., M.A., Ph.D.) -- B.A. jointly administered with the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences
• Economics M.S. and Law J.D. -- Dual degree program

Undergraduate Minors -- minors link to Minor Requirements Reports.

The B.A. program requires a minor, but the B.S.B.A. program does not.  Students may select a minor from the list of approved minors.  Minors available within the department are:

• Economics Minor
• Economics Teaching Minor

The study of economics is designed for those who wish to concentrate in economic analysis to prepare for careers in business, government, teaching, or private research and consulting.

The department participates in the honors program. Honors courses are open to both majors and non-majors.
