-- Directed Studies in Computer-based Training
(1-6 units) Description: This is a specialized and highly individualized program of study in which a small number of students work with a faculty member on projects involving Computer-based Training and Information Design. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Prerequisite(s): consent of instructor. May be repeated: for a total of 12 units of credit. Usually offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.

-- Directed Studies in Sustainable Development
(3-5 units) Description: This course stresses the practical application of skills learned, including research skills, communications experience, and extensive computer applications to complete at least one hands-on project on a specific social, economic, and/or environmental issue in the world today. Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Prerequisite(s): writing skills at senior level or above; consent of instructor for non-AIC students. Usually offered: Fall, Spring.
