The Department:

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry is in the College of Science.

The department provides both general and professional training, giving a strong foundation upon which to base a career in the fields of medicine and related health sciences, in secondary education, or leading to industrial work or graduate specialization in chemistry and biochemistry.

The department participates in the honors program.

Biochemistry Ph.D. and Molecular & Cellular Biology Ph.D.:

This dual degree program is jointly administered with Molecular and Cellular Biology
