The College of Medicine offers a professional program leading to the Doctor of Medicine degree and graduate programs leading to the Doctor of Philosophy degree in certain of the medical sciences. A combined M.D./Ph.D. program in which the two degrees are awarded concurrently is also available. Candidates for the Ph.D. degree are enrolled in the Graduate College of the University.
