Departmental Information

DIVISION OF DANCE (DNC )

The Division of Dance, a division of the School of Music and Dance, provides studies in the art, the teaching and the analysis of dance. The dance curriculum offers technique in ballet, jazz dance and modern dance, choreography and ample performing experience, leading to the Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in dance.

In cooperation with the Department of Theatre Arts, the Committee on Dance offers programs of advanced study which lead to Master of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees with a major in theatre arts with a dance concentration.
