Course Description
An advanced study and application of historical performance movement of Broadway dance styles for the actor. While the focus remains in the jazz and ballet idioms, tap skills and styles will be added. Pacing of the class will increase. While advanced classic works will be explored, an emphasis will be placed on contemporary musical theatre choreographic movement. Emphasis will be placed on advanced technique, precision, performance quality, as well as the addition and integration of props (hats, canes, etc.)
