The course focuses on understanding and recording accounting transactions, and how accounting transactions are reflected in financial statements, and reading/interpreting financial statements. The goal of the class is to provide students with the knowledge necessary to use financial statements. Specifically, students should strive to understand how various transactions and different accounting methodologies are reflected in the financial statements.
