Course Description

This course examines reproduction as more than a biological process. Placing reproduction at the center of social theory, the course focuses on how reproduction always involves social, economic, and political arenas. Using a critical and cross-cultural approach, the course explores a variety of topics, such as pregnancy, childbirth, reproductive rights, fostering/adoption, in/fertility and reproductive technologies.
