Course Description
This course examines methods and standards for the documentation of historic resources including structures, landscapes and districts and strategies to interpret their historical significance. Students will learn how to conduct historical research on a property, how to analyze the larger socio-political, historic or design context in to determine the significance of a property, how to survey, record and communicate historic data and how to prepare reports which meet professional standards.
