Course Description

Students are introduced to current issues and analysis surrounding the challenges of global hunger and poverty. Special emphasis is given to the role of economic principles and models for helping us understand and mitigate these difficult human conditions. Classroom discussions, videos, guest speakers, and short writing assignments facilitate student interaction with these important issues.
