Course Description

This course examines the theoretical and methodological issues related to museum studies. Topics will include the history of display, changing roles of museums, museums and communities, the politics of collecting, and exhibition design. Graduate-level requirements include additional reading that is of a more challenging nature and to produce a more substantial paper. (20 pages for graduates and 10-15 for undergraduates).
