Course Description
Seminar course introducing strategies for developing portfolios and career avenues in the arts. Students will develop artist statements, learn various methods of presenting their work, and learn how to apply for artist grants, residencies, exhibitions, graduate schools, and art related jobs, as well as visit and discuss museums, galleries, professional artist studios and curators. The scope of the coursework will consist of research, with the exchange of the results of such research through discussion, reports, papers and projects.
