Critical inquiry into the use of video as a medium in the visual arts is explored through the examination of current trends in video art and time-based media in galleries and museums, including the use of video in installation, performance, and experimental works. The course is designed for all School of Art graduate students, regardless of discipline and accommodates both beginning and advanced video users.
