Course Description

This course builds on the concept of drawing as a means of investigation, expression and documentation of visual, intellectual and emotional worlds. Orvieto and other regions of Italy will be utilized via field trips to archeological digs, centers of art, and local environs. Graduate-level requirements include writing a research paper on a topic agreed on in consultation with the instructor.
