Course Description
This is a graduate seminar open to all students in the School of Art. Class meeting time will be spent in studio critiques, discussions of contemporary art practice and the three required readings, one-on-one meetings about research and rough drafts and research presentations. This seminar is designed to provide guidance for students in conducting individualized research to gain a better understanding of the social and cultural meanings of their art, illustration and/or design practice.
