Optical and radio detectors; observing preparation, data acquisition and reduction, data analysis. Observing at optical and radio wavelengths. Astrophysical applications of radio data and optical imaging. Computer software and computer-code writing to reduce astronomical data and to solve astronomical problems. Out-of-class telescope sessions are required.
