[Usually offered every other Spring beginning 2002] Advanced problems in the analysis and design of concrete structures, design of slender columns and one- and two-way slabs; lateral and vertical load analysis of bridges and multistory buildings; introduction to design for torsion and seismic forces; use of structural computer programs. Graduate-level requirements may include a research paper or a comprehensive design project.
