Standard inorganic laboratory preparations, including coordination compounds, isomeric, organometalic, bioinorganic, air sensitive compounds, and compounds typifying the groups of the periodic table. High temperature, inert atmosphere, materials synthesis, and characterization of products by various spectroscopic techniques. Graduate level requirements include an individual synthesis project.
