Course Description
Methodology for teaching dance to students in grades K through 12. This course is of special interest to those entering the field of education in the public schools. Areas of emphasis will include contemporary dance, creative movement, injury prevention, general coordination and body awareness. Graduate-level requirements include one on one preceptorship with faculty, (arranged) and a research topic and paper in addition to studio work.
