This course uses tools from microeconomics and game theory to study the interaction of consumers, firms, industries, and governmental institutions. We focus on investigating firms' strategic behaviors and evaluating industries performances. We seek to understand how public policies, in particular, antitrust policies, create a balance between efficiency and market power.
