An introduction to the field of non-profit arts management including performing, visual, media, and interdisciplinary arts. Topics include an overview of organizational structures, advocacy, financial management, marketing, fundraising, artistic planning and programming, audience development and community engagement, personnel, and board development. Course will feature guest lectures by industry professionals and an overview of careers the field.
