Course Description

The purpose of this elective rotation is to provide the UA medical student with experience in a responsible senior student role in a Family Medicine training program (e.g., preceptorship or subinternship) outside Arizona. UA medical students may use this rotation to experience a breadth of roles in Family Medicine, including both hospital and ambulatory care. They may also use this full-time clinical rotation to \"audition,\" i.e., explore a specific Family Medicine residency program elsewhere in the USA or Canada.
