Course Description
Introduction to space geodesy with application to the Earth Sciences. Course provides an overview of modern techniques (GPS, InSAR, etc.), with emphasis on the principles of the Global Positioning System. Applications include plate motions, earthquakes/volcano deformation, Earth orientation, and atmospheric studies.
