Course Description
Fundamentals of the generation, propagation, and interpretation of seismic waves. Two sections: earthquake seismology and exploration seismology. Sections meet together for introduction then students choose one (3 units) or both (5 units) for the remainder of the semester. Graduate-level requirements include a term paper.
