Course Description
This course will cover viral pathogenesis at the molecular, biological and clinical levels with relevance to human disease. There will be an investigation of the characteristics of viral pathogens causing diseases in human, including basic virology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, immunity, clinical diseases, diagnosis, treatment and prevention. The mechanisms and usage of antivirals and viral vaccines will also be presented.
