Course Description

This course is the first in a two-part series. The course will provide an integrated framework for addressing the legal issues that arise in the context of a start-up company. The first half of the course will consist of a series of seminars linking the various legal issues together and introducing students to the practical considerations involved in counseling clients starting small companies. Several seminars will be taught by outside speakers with extensive experience representing start-up companies in Arizona. The second half of the course will focus on students' preparation of a business development presentation, which will be made to the entrepreneurship teams involved in the McGuire Entrepreneurship Program.
