[Taught Spring semester in odd-numbered years.] General theory of linear systems, Foquet theory. Local theory of nonlinear systems, stable manifold and Hartman-Grobman theorems. Poincare-Bendixson theory, limit cycles, Poincare maps. Bifurcation theory, including the Hopf theorem.
