The Immunity and Infection block provides the student with a foundation of basic scientific principles in immunology and microbiology in order to interpret clinical problems. The disciplines involved in this block include immunology, microbiology (virology, bacteriology, mycology and parasitology), pathology, infectious disease, pharmacology, humanism, global & public health issues, and Bioterrorism.
