Course Description

Familiarize students with the spectrum of clinical sleep disorders and approaches to the evaluation and treatment of these disorders, as well as the use and interpretation of polysomnograms. The areas of insomnia, narcolepsy and sleep apnea will be stressed, but a broad range of other sleep disorders will be examined as well. We will also aim to provide students with a better understanding of normal sleep patterns and mechanisms against which clinical aberrations can be judged.
