Course Description
This course is intended to provide an understanding of organizational practices of public corporations in the mining industry. Students will be led to understand the how relationships with regulators, investors, lenders, employees, communities, governments, and indigenous peoples drive the need for specific and varied talent in the production, technical, management, executive employees as well as the board of directors. Students will learn the importance of organizational structure and culture in the corporate setting.
