MSE562 - Materials Aspects of Composite Materials
Course ID
023019
Course Description
Topics of intensive current development in polymer science. In each case, the relation between molecular structure, morphology and properties will be explored. Shows how polymers can be designed and tuned to have the properties needed to fulfill specialized functions. Topics will focus on composite materials, including high modulus fibers, polymer, metal and ceramic matrices. Graduate-level requirements include additional computational and written exercises.
