NSC310 - Human Nutrition in the Prevention and Treatment of Disease
Course Description
This course will provide a deeper understanding of the human bodys nutrient requirements, emphasizing the promotion of good health and the primary prevention of nutrition related diseases. The application of basic nutrition science principles in the selection of nutritional therapy will also be investigated. In this course, students will investigate nutritional health inequalities experienced by historical and contemporary populations and draw conclusions, supported through qualitative evidence.
