Course Description
The goal of this course is to teach the student the approach to clinical evaluation, diagnosis and counseling of children and families with genetic disorders and/or congenital anomalies. To teach the student the basic mechanisms by which abnormal human development occurs during embryonic and fetal life. To teach the student the relevance of molecular genetics/DNA diagnosis to clinical genetics.
