Course Description
To provide the student with an introduction to pediatric critical care medicine. Major emphasis will be placed on understanding physiology and pathophysiology in order to provide rational supportive care. The student will be taught a pathophysiologic approach to the diagnosis and management of shock, respiratory failure, multiple trauma and neurointensive care problems.
