Course Description
We must often make decisions when the consequences of our actions are uncertain. It can even be argued that all of our everyday decisions are of this sort. Decision theory is concerned with how to make rational decisions in the face of such uncertainty. Courses for which students receive the grade of P (Pass) do not satisfy requirements for the M.A. or Ph.D. or minor in philosophy. Graduate-level requirement includes a 10-12 page paper in addition to the midterm and final.
