Course Description

This four-credit team-taught course is designed to introduce students to the principles of drug discovery and design and to illustrate the process of drug development. After an introduction to the principles of drug discovery and design (four lectures), a representative group of approved drugs will be discussed in relation to their receptor interactions and associated medicinal chemistry.
