Course Description
Designed for planning students who expect to practice in a variety of national planning systems. The objective of this course is to provide a comparative survey of domestic planning systems in an international context. Additional topics covered include variations in the powers of local units of government and analysis of interjurisdictional competencies and conflicts. Graduate-level requirements include more required reading and are graded on analysis of readings in their logs.
