Course Description
To provide the student with an experience in clinical outpatient psychiatry. To enable the student to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to perform a comprehensive diagnostic interview and how to integrate a variety of data to formulate a differential diagnosis for each patient. Students will be provided the opportunity to understand the biological, psychological and sociological factors in the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of the major mental disorders.
