This course examines various areas of advanced GIS applications such as dynamic segmentation, surface modeling, spatial statistics, and network modeling. The laboratory activities will provide students with direct experience with extensions to basic GIS data models and spatial data processing. Graduate-level requirements include an extensive project and report on a GIS application.
