Course Description

Key approaches and current developments in psychiatric rehabilitation in the US; provision of basic information about mental illness, the rehabilitation needs of persons with psychiatric disabilities, and implications for best practice in rehabilitation settings. Graduate requirements include an 8-10 page, APA-style research paper from list of selected topics; then present these research findings to peers and instructor for evaluation of: thoroughness and accuracy of content, usefulness of information, teaching style.
