Course Description
This seminar will focus on the knowledge and skills required to reduce the risk of hearing impairment resulting from noise exposure during occupational and leisure activities. The course content will be broad in scope and include discussions of the auditory and non-auditory effects of noise, community noise and annoyance, noise measurement, and federal regulations related to noise exposure levels, among other topics. The class will focus on proactive and sustainable hearing conservation design and implementation.
