Course Description
The purpose of this laboratory is to develop skills coincident with the knowledge areas presented in SLHS 589R, including administration and interpretation of the following procedures: Pure tone and speech audiometric testing by air and bone conduction, masking, immittance testing, reflectance and multi-frequency tympanometry. Additionally, students will learn the basics of audiometer calibration, including the physical and biological measures involved in the calibration process.
