Course Description

The goal of this elective is to expose the students to the unknown and uncertainty in clinical medicine by focusing on ignorance rather than knowledge in a wide variety of selected surgical and medical disorders. Students will learn how to function better in the clinical arena within existing gaps in knowledge and understanding and perhaps how to fill these gaps. Students will also refine critical, analytical and decision-making skills and ability to communicate.
