Course Description

This course will explore the complex web of relationships between environmental, economic, and social systems. It will explore these interrelationships through such dimensions as formal and non-formal education; culture; economy; energy; urbanism; transportation; and citizenship. The course, which will use case studies from around the world, will inform students about individual behaviors, institutional strategies, structural changes, and public policies around social and environmental sustainability. The course will be useful for education and non-education students alike.
