Course Description
In this course students will learn fundamental theory and practice of palliative care in the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual domains. They will critically examine palliative care models and the evidence upon which they are based, in order to inform nursing practice and research in palliative and end-of-life care. This course is suitable for both DNP and PhD students who are considering palliative care as an area for specialty practice, quality improvement, and/or research.
