Course Description
This course reviews the rich legacy of agriculture in Arizona, from pre historic irrigation canals to present day technological advances. The course will discuss the importance of Arizona's agricultural legacy and how it has led to the economic strength and stability of our society. The overall goal is to acquaint students with the historical and present day role of agriculture in providing food and fiber to communities, the state, the nation and the world. The course will also serve to acquaint students with the policies and procedures of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in order to ensure continuing student success. Guest lecturers will speak on their areas of expertise throughout the semester.
