Course Description
During the elective the medical student will serve as an outpatient team member working with other health professionals. The medical student will have responsibilities commensurate with demonstrated abilities which may include obtaining outpatient history and physicals, ordering diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, providing ambulatory care, and working with community agencies. Care is provided to borderlands (Frontera) people of all ages from infants to the elderly.
